Hi all, hoping you can help. Every room in my home is stuccoed and all painted white. I think someone didn't want to deal with repairing plaster walls and took the easy way out. Are there different techniques I can do other than just painting different colors to achieve different looks? Can you sponge paint on stucco? Any ideas at all would be much appreciated. Thanks

Sure you can use different techniques on stucco. One way sponging. Paint the walls a base color you like , and use paint or glaze of a different color for sponging. Or use a long napped roller , say 1/2 inch or so and lightly go over the walls for a different effect. You can just about do anything, and with the stucco texture , experiment with sponges, rags, plastic scrub pads, crushed newspaper etc. Its wide open.
