I am removing wallpaper in the bathroom. There are some areas in which the drywall is coming off the wallpaper. What is the best way to prepare the wall for paint after all the wallpaper is down?

I would patch or spackle the bad spots sand smooth fixed areas. Then lightly sand the whole thing prime then paint.

If you have alot of spots that the face paper is coming off the drywall you should seal the spots with GARDZ fron Zinsser before you spackle as this will keep the paper from bubbling. Then prime and finish paint your walls.
