I'm so confused. If someone can suggest a paint color suited for my new living space. I can attach pictures of my living room sofa which I'm using as my main piece of furniture to choose a color. Please let me know if I can send pictures of my current apt and let me know what colors are suitable for me. I am planning on using Benjamin Moore paints because I just love the new scrubable Matte Finish.

Thanks,

Angela

We retained the services of a professional designer. It was really reasonable for the consultation, around $100. Might be a thought.

Also, you can post your email and messenger address in your profile and remove it whenever you want. Only registered users can access the profile by clicking the handyman icon at the bottom of your post. You can click my profile and send something if you want.

Have you tried picking out a color you like that's in the sofa, sofa pillows, or drapes in your room? That's where I start. Look for subtle tones, too. For example, my sofa looks tan at first glance, but on closer inspection you see blue and darker brown fibers in it. I usually pick one color from one of those sources and get paint to match - it coordinates well and ties the look of your room together.
