CAn I do it my self? I have painter my house everyother year and still peals. Shinkles are damp. I sanded, bleached and bought solutions that claimed would solve the pealing but once shingles are damp, they have to be replaced.
I do not want to debate shingles hust wondering how hard it would be to vinal side myself. I am very handy.
Is there a book, pamplet or web site?

Nobody on this board can tell from a simple message what your talents and abilities are.
Nobody here knows what your house is like.
I would suggest going to a home improvement store or checking this website for a video on how to install vinyl siding. Watch it and then determine if you can handle it.
It's not that tough for a regular do-it-yourselfer.
