I want my room to look great and also match as well. i have a tan carpet almost like beige. The walls are just bare right now. i have a white art desk with black bars holding it up though so far and a black tv. i can put the tv in something but im just unsure of what color would look good with the desk in it as well. I was thinking burgendy (sp). i could really use some opinions on this! thanks ~bri

My wife and I had a similar dilima with a bathroom we were repainting. We tried two colors, actually painting them onto the walls, only to realize each time that they sucked. After repriming twice, we "drafted" a friend who happens to have a good sense of color, and her idea worked well.
Our color scheme doesn't match yours at all, so I won't bore you with the details (besides, I can never remember the strange-sounding names of our colors). Rest assurred though, you aren't the only one to struggle with picking paint color.
