We have just had a wall moved inside our home, and I am getting conflicting reports as to how to deal with the drywall. Do I apply a normal latex primer, or use a specific drywall sealer & primer? HELP!

As I understand it, the only difference really is that wallboard sealer/primer doesn't raise the nap of the raw drywall as much-it will not make the wall "fuzzy" at all where regular primer-which is designed to go over an existing paint layer-could. BUT, most folks can't tell the difference anyway, so it's really your call. Do whatever's easier for you!
Oh, make sure you wipe the new wall off with a damp cloth, or vacuum it or something. A layer of dust on the wall will cause adhesion problems for any product you try to put on it!

The drywall will fuzz up less with an acrylic primer than just a latex primer as it has more solids and less water. Also for the smoothest wall you will want to lightly sand after you have primed.
