I want to "brown bag" my entry and it has (what's left) of other wallpaper still up. Can I do this over my old paper or does it all have to come off?

Hi there...

I hate to tell you this, but I would recommend you take the remaining paper off. When you glue the torn or brown paper on the wall, you will see the outline of the old paper underneath your new paper more than likely. We always make sure the walls are smooth before we do this technique, and it's just better (imho) to start with the best surface you can possibly get.
