Hi, I recently painted trim (interior) with oil semi-gloss.It is way too shiny for me. Can I use a deglosser just to dull it, I don't want to repaint. Or would it be better to use a very fine sand paper? Or any other suggestions? Thanks Isabel

I am not sure if any of the things you want to try will give a good result but you may want to try it out in an area that is out of the way to see how it looks. The liquid deglosser would be my first choice as sanding will leave marks in the paint.
