I just purchased new cabinets and had pickle finish applied instead of what I really wanted -- a glazed finish. I should have gone with the glaze, as the pickle looks kind of pink and I'm really unhappy with them -- they looked a lot different on the little wood sample you get from the cabinet maker! So, I just had them installed last week and want to put the glaze on myself and am running into some snags. My husband is upset about the idea of sanding the cabinets -- we don't want to ruin the factory finish on our brand new cabinets! What can I do? Please help!! And, you don't need to waste your breath (or fingers) by telling me I'm stupid for doing this . . . I already realized that on my own! :-(
