We are replacing our carpet with laminate flooring and would like to replace our 3" stained baseboards with 4" white baseboards. My question is if we replace the base boards with white baseboards would we have to paint all of the stained door frames inorder for it to look good?

thanks

Just my opinion, but I like all of the trim to match. I think you can get away with painted doors and stained trim, but a mix of painted and stained trim wouldn't look quite right, at least to me.

You might try it first -- if you don't like it you can always paint the rest of the trim.
