You'll need two tools -- paper tiger and a wallpaper steamer. The paper tiger is pretty cheap ( > $10 ) and you can rent or buy a steamer.

Pull off any loose wallpaper (if any) and then run the paper tiger thoroughly over the wall. The paper tiger makes all sorts of little holes so that the steam can penetrate. Then hold the steamer on one section at a time for about 30 seconds. Once the steamer has done its work, you should be able to peel the paper off easily.

Note:

1. This makes a tremendous, wet, sticky mess. Use disposable plastic sheeting to minimize the mess.

Use the steamer!!

After all paper is off, you'll still have to use a stripper to dissolve all glue left!!

* Rinse well too...2 or 3 times.

* Let dry a DAY OR TWO.

* Then, use an Oil or Shellac primer. Let dry a few hours.

* Then, TWO coats of a good paint.
