I have an oceanfront building 5 stories high in South Florida (Miami Beach)that needs repainting. I am using urethane caulking (sikaflex) around the windows but I want to use elastomeric paint for the masonry/stucco. I know it's more expensive but I want protection against wind driven rain. What is the maintenance suggestion for the elasto to prevent mildew, etc.

It is no different than with any other exterior acrylic coating. It will need to be washed every so often to remove dirt and mildew and this can be just a bleach and detergent mixture.

You should contact a paint supplier such as Sherwin Williams to be sure you get the correct system on your building.
