Bought new (old) 50-yr old house. Wood cabinets in kitchen would look great if they were painted and glazed. Oil vs. latex? Re glazing, it doesn't seem like it would be rocket science (brush on, wipe off), but one contractor implied that it was VERY difficult (and expensive). Anybody got experience as DIY or with contractor?
