Can you mud and tape over the top of this stuff?? I am working on a 10 year old modular home, it has drywall that is covered with some kind of texture wall paper that is factory made and there is bat strips covering the seems, I want to tape the seems after removing the bat strip and skim coat the rest of it, Can you help me? I don't see why you could not mud over this primer but I would not wait more than a couple of days before you do as it may to slick and hard for the mud to adhear. Also you will need to prime the mud before you apply finish paint.
I am not sure where you are going to get your paint but you should go to a paint store and not a big box to get your paint. That way you will get the best advice and paint as well.
