We have a squeaky floor in the kitchen. The house is about 15 years old and in the winter time the floor squeaks in certain spots. The plywood was nailed down, not screwed. I have put wooden wedges between the plywood and the floor joist but this does not seem to help the situation. In fact, we have one nail that has come through the linoleum. Can anyone give us some suggestions on how to stop the squeaks. Someone said that there are rubber wedges. Has anyone heard of these and where can they be purchased ?
