I'd like to save a few dollars by installing wall-to-wall carpet myself, but cannot find any information (here or elsewhere) on how to go about it. Is the job so hard that nobody even cares to try? I consider myself fairly handy, and the job looks simple -- just a 12x12 foot square room. Any suggestions, resources, or war stories out there? Many thanks!
