We installed ceramic tile flooring. The floor tile has a natural stone look to it with little indentations. We are doing a large area and wanted to grout all of it at one time. The grout remained workable long enough to work it into all of the joints but by the time we began to wipe off the excess it was really stuck to the tile. We scrubbed off as much as we could but now there is still a thick haze on the tile and grout in the little indentations. Is there a product we can use to remove this left over haze and how do we get the grout out of the indentations.?

Did you ever find a solution. I am going through a carbon copy of your problem as we speak?
Thank you.

Thank you.

I found the answer tonight at my local hardware store (hail ace hardware)
Anyway, hydrocloric acid (used by masons to remove cement from brick) disolved the grout in no time. I mixed 1/3 acid with 2/3 water & scrubbed it with a acid brush, The haze gave way (finally) & I cleaned the excess acid/water up with some old towels that I tossed after the job. I then repeated flushed the floor with clean water & mopped it all up. I now have a good looking tile floor (thank god).
I hope this helps someone on the verge of jumping such as myself.
Take care.
