We're working with a builder and plan to start construction soon. We had planned to pour a slab and stain the concrete as our finished flooring, but due to water problems the builder is telling us to go with a crawl space. We really like the look and feel of stained concrete, can we pour on top of a conventional wood subfloor? Are there any alternatives? The walls will be BlueMax ICF, radiant floor heat.
