Within 2 months of laying the carpet in our new house, a large linear stain appeared. We had the carpet cleaned, and the stain disappearred, but returns within a month of cleaning. The stain now runs across the entire room in almost a straight line. We wonder if we should remove the carpet and try to figure out where the stain is originating. Any suggestions?
