HELP!!! I have began tearing up the carpet in my house to redo the hardwood floors under. In front of the bathroom I have found dry water damaged boards. They are not rotten but are stained. Also they are not splintering. Is there anything I can do to return moisture to the boards they are gapping in the seems. Also is there anything I can do for the holes caused by the staples from the carpet pad?
