- Cat urine odor on hardwood floor
I would try Baking soda in powder form. Let it sit for 3 day's then vacuume up. Then wash the floor with a wood safe cleaner.
See if this works? I would like to know.
You may also want to try a pet supply store for a cleaner. Cat urine is really hard to remove since it seems to crystalize and come back when it gets warm. You may also want to check out the site at Michigan State Extension service. The address is: http://www.msue.msu.edu/msue/imp/mod02/master02.html. Lots of good advice on home maintenance & repair, including cleaning LOTS of different troublesome areas. If you go into: "c" for cleaning, there are a number of recommendations for cleaning urine from floors. Also, a good overview of cleaning products and how to know what to use where or when. Even a section on "mystery" stains and how to figure out what caused them. (under S) Good luck.
