Bvflooring
I have an upstairs bathroom with a tiled floor and crack across the middle. I've been told that this is probably not the original flooring and when they put the tiles in they did not reinforce the beams/floor (?) underneath. I'm thinking about pulling up the floor to replace some plumbing pipes and then put a new floor down. Question: How do I reinenforce the beams/floor before putting new tile down?

There are various types of "concrete" board that can be laid over the subfloor to make it rigid. Then, lay the tile on that.
You can find these at any local home improvement place. My local Home Depot has a display showing the parts and how it's done.
