I was wondering if a concrete backboard could be laid on top of a tiled floor. The original floor is concrete with 12x12 tiles on top that are coming loose. The reason they are coming loose is because of dampness penetrating and breaking down the glue. Would this type of backboard stand up to dampess and keep it from penetrating through to an Amstrong or Pergo laminated flooring system? Just checking out all the options and appreciate any information any one can give. Thanks.
