Hi, I recently tiled my bathroom floor. I used a ceramic tile which looks like a natural sandstone. Anyway, it looked great until I grouted it. I have tried all of the heavey duty grout removers & have had no luck removing the grout haze from the service of the tiles. It made a great looking floor look horrible. I am at the point where I am considering ripped it all up & starting over. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be hugely appreciated.
Take care

- Remove Grout Haze from Ceramic Tile
I had a similar problem in our house. One thing that took a lot of the haze off was to let it dry and then go over it with a Swiffer and take up that dust. If your tile doesn't have too flat of a finish it may help.
I don't know if this is the best way but worth checking into. I had porcelain tile put on my screened porch and it is so hard that you literally cannot scratch the tile with a steel knife point. I've tried it on several leftover pieces. With that in mind, consider trying this:
1) Test yours to see if it's that tough.
2) LIGHTLY sand it with sandpaper or steel wool or some other abrasive that will cut the grout haze, but not the tile.

Did you try the plastic scrubber to remove it yet?, also you didnt specify what type of grout you used, if its epoxy, chances are you will never get the haze off, once that stuff cures, its permanent.
If it is a cementitious grout haze use phosphoric or sulphamic acid diluted 10-1, wear safety equipment. Try to avoid using muriatic acid.
If it is an epoxy grout, use a product containing methylene chloride.Read instructions carefully and wear safety equipment.
Good luck
