I recently ripped out a portion of carpet in my master bathroom that covered my wife's "vanity" area and installed some italian floor tiles - looks great. The last part of the project is to re-lay the carpet in two areas where it meets the tile. I know I simply need to nail some tack boards and "kick" the carpet in place, but have no experience in this area, nor the proper tools. It is likely a 10 minute job for a carpet pro, so I was wondering if I'd be better off hiring a pro (if I can get a reasonable quote).
Any comments or thoughts on D.I.Y. vs. Carpet Pro?
