Bvflooring
Hi;
I just finished installing oak flooring in a room that has an adjoining room that is carpeted. The new oak floor is higher than the carpet and I need to know how to make the transitions between the rooms. Do I need to make a threshold, if so How do I do that?

this can be done a couple of ways one is to use a #2 ceder roof shake , thick end to the hardwood and ramp the carpet to the hardwood. second is take a look at a "baby threshold"and see if you can use that. ..good luck
