I have a very dirty, very old, high traffic area of hardwood floor. It has not been refinished and I don't think it's sealed. How can I clean it without ruining the wood?

most wood companys make some kind of wood cleaner,bruce/hartco makes one called" wipe clean".just make sure it's a wood cleaner, you will need to look for it at a flooring supply company.good luck

If these are unfinished floors you could also sand them to get the scuffs and marks out of them then I would suggest to get them sealed (this will make it much, much easier for you to clean next time.
