the short answer is no.the long answer is the floor must be level as a sheet of glass,which means a lot of floor prep.ceramic tile may be flat(inc the grout line)but they must be level across the whole floor,put a steel straight edge on the tile,minimun 4 ft long,and look for gaps under the straight edge....good luck
