We are remodeling our kitchen, and are considering putting in a bamboo floor. Also, we have a large dog. Are we out of our minds? We have seen Wilsonart laminate bamboo, which looks almost as good as the real thing (but is actually more expensive). Would this be a better choice, or is the real thing durable enough?
Thanks!

It's at a place in Los Angeles - Felikian's. Real bamboo was $2.99/sf, Wilsonart was $4.99.

Suggestion:

Be extra careful with bamboo thesedays. There's an overabundance of supply and it's not slowing down. Stick with known name brands that have a track record.
