Bvflooring
We have 80-year-old fir floors, that have cracks, gouges, etc. and are worried about our baby girl crawling over them so are going to install Shaw laminate flooring overtop. We were told that the floor can be floated directly overtop of the existing floors, so long as we ensure it is level. He suggested 'floor level compound'. Can this be poured onto the existing wood floors?
