Bvflooring
I plan on peeling up old vinyl flooring and putting some new vinyl flooring down but right in front of my toilet I feel a low spot and also in a few other places. The spots are not very low but you can tell when you put a foot where it's low at. My question is..... Can I just fill these few low spots with a self leveling compound then relay with new vinyl??

your best bet is not a self leveling patch, but a regular cement based floor patch.in your post you don't say what your sub floor is.is it p-board,plywood or concrete? please post a reply

It's plywood beneath the old vinyl

the question is then why the dips, the answer is water damage.you may find you need to remove the underlayment, and poss.some sub floor repairs....check for a leaking wax ring at the toilet......good luck
