I have recently had the kitchen extended which has left me with a floor that is half wood and the other half cenemtone. I now wish to lay lino on top. Do I HAVE TO LAY ANYTHING UNDERNEATH

i dont know what "cenemtone" is but to install lino you need a smooth flat floor.this is done by installing underlayment,there are diff,types of underlayment but "A" sided plywood is the best for lino....good luck
