What is the best way to level a large area of concrete floor (aprox. 450 sqft)? I'm considering some sort of self leveling product but the lowest points of the floor are as much as two inches lower than the high point. And are these products suitable over a painted floor? The finished floor will be ceramic tile.

it can be done ,but it's not a d.i.y. project, you will need a concrete contractor.the paint will need to be removed, the floor will then be treated with a bonding agent, and then the floor will be poured...good luck
