We are planning to remodel our kitchen this spring. The big problem is the floor has carpet that is glued down to the floor. There are hard wood floors throughout the house, and we hope that we can somehow get the carpet up and save the wood floors. We tested an area in a corner and had to use a screwdriver to dig through the very hard glue. Does anyone have any ideas?

remove the carpet and use a drum sander to remove glue and resand the wood floor. Although you will go thru sandpaper like crazy.
You can easily do this job using the PEEL AWAY 5 paint removal product. It will remove the glue and keep the natural color of the wood. Visit the web site at www.peelaway.com
