i would think the best install would be to nail the floor down (no glue) however ask the people you purchased the wood from,they will be best able to advise you...is the wood tounge and grove? how thick is it? what is your sub-floor?what type of pine and what kind of finish will you use?what room will this be installed in?....your answers my change my answer....good luck
