HELP! We hade Pergo flooring installed in our front entryway last November. It was fine until this Summer when it buckled about 2 feet across and about 4 feet back. We have to step on it to open our front door. When you walk on it, you feel like you are floating, then crashing down! What is the cause and the cure? Answer soon, I can't get in my house!!!!

Apparently there is more humidity during the summer time, and the product was not acclimated correctly or too little of an expansion gap was left, so the floor expanded and did not have any place to go, so it is buckling.

you will need to take off moldings and cut some more to allow for more expansion.

try getting the installer to do it, they should.
