We have a two year old Columbia prefinished hardwood floor in our kitchen area and it also extends into our nook and entryway. We have had problems in the kitchen area with the finish chipping off and exposing the wood underneath and I'm not sure what's causing it. Also, a few of the boards have cracks running down their centers. We use a water-based hardwood floor spray cleaner so I'm not sure why this is happening. Would anyone have an idea or has this happened to anyone else? We have a humidifier on our furnace that we set to 45% in the Fall and Winter so I don't think it's a humidity issue. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

This sounds like a prefinished floor. If you have followed the manufacturer specifications on care and maintenance you may have a warranty claim.
