In using cedar shingles/shakes, on outside corners you can either use corner boards or you can lace the corners. I understand what the finished corner should look like and expect I will figure out an efficient method for installing the corners but I'm wondering if anyone can point to a reference for basic steps to do this properly. I imagine there is a technique for altering which side gets nailed first and when the cuts are made so everything is snug. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
