I just purchased a 150 yr old home with varied width plank (pine) floors. There is some repair work that needs to be done when I have them finished and probably a few boards need to be replaced.
The same style of planks are in the attic and are in pristine condition. Do I have the floor people remove the planks from the attic for repairs, purchase new pine planks, or find similar planks through a lumber salvage company?
Your thoughts??? WWYD?
