I have embarked on a 'learn as you go' project. I have removed glued down indoor/outdoor carpeting from a patio which was converted to an Arizona Room. Had no idea how hard it would be to pull up the carpet, but I succeeded. Now I am facing a cement slab. What I intended to do was lay vinyl tiles, but I am concerned about how to prep the concret, if needed, and WILL the tiles adhere to concrete. If anybody has experience in this area.....please....help! :)

- Vinyl Tiles on Concret Floor
Make sure the concrete is flat. Any bump or glue will leave a rise. Seal the concrete with a concrete sealer. Just ask at the Home Improvement store you go to. It will probably be in the paint section not the flooring area. Then apply tile. If this room will get direct sun with no A/C the glue may get soft.
