Well...After much research on the internet and phoning **********/ Pergo we decided to purchase an exact match in color from Dupont. One problem... the interlocking systems are not compatable but since we ran out of the prodigy in a very inconspicuous space and non-traffic area we decided to cut off the interlocking edge which will lie next to the prodigy, glue the dupont to the last row of prodigy then continue as normal for the next two rows. So far it looks flawless but i have no idea what over time will happen. We did not glue it to the floor so it still is a floating system it just that where the prodigy ended and the dupont began there are two rows stuck together. I hope this helps you. I understand this is a very frustrating situation. i got no where with either company. the folks at my local ********** where very helpful in trying to locate more boxes from other stores but were unsuccessful. The ********** head office was useless and pergo was rude. Good luck!
we put down approx. 1000 sq.feet, less that 2yrs. ago, the floor is rising at the joint, where the floor snaps together. the floor has been discontinue. the selling point of this floor was, the floor had the rubber backing and did not need the underlayment. we don't have the installation instructions and want to file a complaint with the company. any one with information on installation info., please forward.
pergo prodigy/weathered wheat oak PX3253, we are looking for manufacture instruction/warrenty information. please foreword.
I am looking for any planks of weathered wheat oak that are available. We have most of our floors done only to find out we can't get anymore of the planks. I do have the warranty info, etc. that you need if you would reply to this email, I will get the info to you.
I had the same problems as you with Pergo and **********. Pergo was rude and not at all helpful and ********** didn't really care that we were having a problem. I'm not impressed and very frustrated that our 4000.00 floor is incomplete.
