Help! I have antique quarter-sawn wood flooring in several widths (3", 4", 5", 6" and 7") and all different lengths. How do I calculate my total square footage (how many square feet will my wood cover)??

Dont know of any other way so here goes.
Separate into bundles of same widths. add up pieces to get total linear length for each width.
For 3" width take 25% of linear length, that will be your square footage. For the 4" take 1/3 of the length as your square footage. For the 5, 6 &7 take 50% Add up the sq footage for each width and you will have a good idea of how much wood you have.
