We are using black galaxy granite (slab has a little copper specks in it) counter top for our kitchen cabinets. I want use matching black galaxy tiles either 12/12 or 18/18 for the backsplash and use copper metal tiles as an accent. I need some info about these copper tiles. I am also open for any other suggestions design ideas

The copper accent tiles need to be set in the same modified thinset that you use for the granite. Other than that, your questions on the copper should go to the sales help at a good tile retail store, not one of the big box home centers, but a real tile store. They have design people who can help you with the placement and overall layout, based on the size of granite tile you choose.
