In the process of redoing our kitchen floor, I managed to splash some thinset and/or grout on my (brand new) rollaway toolchest.

Is there any way I can remove it, now that it's dried?

I realize it's 'just' a toolchest, but c'mon guys, IT"S MY TOOLCHEST!!!

Any help is appreciated.

If its a metal chest then a wet sponge and some picking at it will do the trick. Get the solids wet and let sit for a minute then pick off the chunks then lightly rub with a wet sponge.
