Bvflooring
Hello! We moved into an 80ish year old house and underneath the wall to wall we discovered beautiful hardwood floors. We had them sanded, sealed and coated with polyurethane by a very reputable company. He advised us not to walk around in our barefeet but my husband says that is only if our feet are wet. I think my husband may be wrong but I would like to know why barefeet are not a good idea. We love the floors. Thay are old growth oak with dark mahogany perimeters and scroll work in the corners. Thank you for taking the time to answer.

You cannot harm a floor coated in polyurethane by walking barefoot.
