I am a general contractor and have been laying tile for 15 years. I would not recommend this product for new tile applications. Do an online check and you'll see all the complaints.
It shrinks and causes pinholes to form, even if you follow the directions to the letter. It forces you to apply a second coat, but you have to wait several days for the first coat to completely harden or it happens a second time. (It happened to me) Not very easy as advertised to spread on. It's very sticky and difficult to remove the haze afterwards.
The only redeeming quality about this product is the stain repelling feature. If you are a homeowner with lots of time to apply this product, then consider these obstacles before applying. If you are a contractor, I can't see how you could make any money applying this product if you have to make a second trip to re-apply and a third trip to scrub, and I mean scrub off the haze afterwards. If the homeowner insisted on using the product, they would definitely pay the extra price!

I totally disagree with the contractor above. TrafficMaster went down easy, yea saw a few pinholes but took a damp spong before the final wipe down and they were gone. Just make sure you pack it tight maybe tighter than other grouts. You have to take a little more time with it, but it's worth if for the non- staining feature.
