Bvflooring
Problem--New addition--new oak flooring to be installed (tongue and grooved)--(glued and nailed 3/4in. particle board sub-floor).

Have floor stapler and 11/2in. staples. They do not penetrate through to bottom of subfloor.

Is this going to be strong enough? How far appart should the staples be?

With this type of floor and subfloor is there a preferred method?

Help!!!!!!!!!!

Particle board is not a suitable subfloor for this.

Excellence is its own reward!
