I have Dura Ceramic tiles and love, love, love them. We were told when we had it installed NOT to use a steam mop. It would loosen the tiles. My floor has been in for years and no problems at all. Everyone comments on the beauty of the tiles. I am happy that I put in a medium color for the grout.

I have had no success with Congoleum standing behind their product also. We had our Duraceramic flooring put in our kitchen, dining, living room and hallway. We are 2 careful adults with no kids. The floor started showing surface chips after about 6 months, There was an inspector sent out, it took like a year to get that and then nothing. It has been 6 years with no satisfaction, new damage shows up almost daily, it is cracking and lifting. I cannot in good conscience say anything good at this point about Congoleum. We paid $5500. for a floor we thought would last as long as we owned the home, so distressing!!

My floor is just about 6 months old and the corners are starting to chip. Ther are alos pitmarks starting to develop in the high traffic areas.

Anyone have any luck in getting their issues resolved? If so let me know how.

I'm getting ready to install DuraCeramic tiles in a small bathroom.
I'm considering applying a coat of polyurethane once the tiles are set up, to avoid what seems to be a product failure-to-perform issue.
If Congoleum won't honor any warranty on this product, it's worth a try to see what happens.

I purchased and had a flooring installer install my Dura ceramic floor in my kitchen. I was told by the salesman that this was a durable product and and was better than ceramic, job done less then a year ago. We are very carefull with the floor, we have dogs and around the dog bowels and back door where the floor sometimes gets wet the water has been getting under the tile making the tile come loose. We have nicks in the floor and the grout is cracking and coming out through out the floor. I have had the installer out three times, he replaces tile and grout and the same problem keeps happening. I would have never have purchased this product knowing this was going to happen.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT IT IS JUNK!

We are in the process of shopping for new kitchen flooring and one dealer told us that they no longer sell DuraCeramic because of the problems with it. They were concerned that selling any more of it would destroy their good reputation. I'm glad we checked out this site!

I am a consumer protection attorney working in Washington, DC and Maryland. My firm is investigating DuraCeramic. It would be helpful to our investigation if we could speak to anyone who has the tiles installed in their home or business. If you are willing to have a brief conversation, I can be reached at (202) 789-3960 or by e-mail at brendant@cuneolaw.com. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

We put duraceramic in our kitchen and bathroom. While we love it in the bathroom we hate it in the kitchen. It was installed professionally. The kitchen shows ever scratch from the felt bottomed chairs and everything that has been dropped has pit martks. This was certainly not disclosed when shopping. The lifetime warranty ??????

I had Duraceramic installed by a professional installer. I hate it. It is chipped everywhere. Also the grout is cracked> I asked several times about the grout being sealed and was told they don't seal it. It is really showing dirt and how do you clean the grout? Paid a lot of money for a floor I am not happy with!
