I am experiencing noise on windy days at gable end wall of the house that sounds like the whole vinyl wall is moving. The (creeky) noise is so loud that it keeps me up on windy nights. The rest of the house walls doesn't do this noise. There is no windows on that wall. This is a modular home and that noisy end was installed afterwards. Is there anything that needs to be added so that this noise is not so loud? Was it installed incorrectly? Thanks for your help.

well the modular home builders like to use air staple guns to attach siding and the staples cause the noise from expansion and contraction.

also is the siding reativly tight upwards to each other or can you easily unzip the siding. ...push down on a sheet with the palm of your hand and if it opens the join, then it is too loose.

In response to your posting, they used roofing nails not tightly. They said they were not supposed to tightly adhere them. Yes they are tightly snapped on and not that easily taken off. thanks for responding to my problem.
