I found some vinyl tiles I wanted to lay in my vanity area of my bathroom. I pulled up the carpeting and found a subfloor. I consulted my local hardware store who informed me that all I need is a primer. I prepped it with a primer, after thoroughly cleaning it, however the tiles continue to slide, they are not sticking. I don't know what the problem is. I was wondering if any one could help rectify this. I need help as soon as possible, as I have company coming for Thanksgiving and really need to get this done - quick. Thanks.

whne installing vinyl tiles you need to use an adhesive called a dry-set or sry-tac adhesive.
the adhesive needs to cure dry before placement of the tiles.
